Whitney DeVos is a scholar, writer, editor, and translator currently based in Mexico City. With Zane Koss and Gerónimo Sarmiento Cruz, she is co-translator of Hugo García Manriquez’s Lo común, forthcoming as COMMONPLACE from Cardboard House Press. Excerpts of the English translation can be found in tripwire: a journal of poetics. As part of the reader team at Poetry magazine, Whitney helped to curate the February 2022 special folio, “Translation in the Twenty-First Century,” as consulting editor to guest editor Suzi F. Garcia.
