Aisha Sasha John, Lisa Robertson, & THOU

Direct address: BookThug has posted video and audio of Aisha Sasha John reading from her new book, THOU, which has some pretty fine press-writing around it: "In THOU, Aisha Sasha John knows the day – biblically. What if time itself was an object of desire? And the book was a theatre for that? Aisha Sasha John has a crush on time. Which is why she discipled in it. For three years. Also for three months. Also for three months at 33. Ya." We're in!

Also in is Lisa Robertson. Here's a great conversation between Robertson and John from last spring:

We're also thankful for this fragment from John at Lemon Hound.

When should one do nothing? When is nothing the precise and prudent, healthy good good right right course and not a gruesome cowardice as it often is ‘cause we all know nothing and how it is attractive when it takes the form of an easierness, when it takes the form of an avoidance. We all know those nothings. If it were not for those nothings would we not all stink with the wealth of actualized opportunity?

And here she is reading from THOU. You're welcome!
