Ana Ristović

Poet and translator Ana Ristović was born in Belgrade, Serbia. She has published six books of poetry, including Directions for Use, Meteoric Debris, Snovidna voda (Dreamwater), Zabava za dokone kćeri (Party for Lazybones Daughters), and P.S.–Selected Poems. She has won many awards for her work in Europe, including the Hubert Burda Preis, a prize for young European poetry. Ristović's poems have been translated into many languages, and she has translated roughly 20 books of contemporary Slovenian literature into Serbian. She lives in Belgrade.
