Ben Purkert

Ben Purkert is a poet and novelist. His debut poetry collection, For the Love of Endings, came out in 2018 from Four Way Books, and his novel, The Men Can't Be Saved, was published by Abrams Books in 2023. His writing has appeared in The New Yorker,The Nation, Slate, The KenyonReview, and elsewhere. The editor of Guernica’s Back Draft interview series, he currently teaches at Sarah Lawrence College.
