Donna Aza Weir-Soley

Donna Aza Weir-Soley is the incoming president of the Association of Caribbean Women Writers and Scholars and associate professor of English at Florida International University. She authored the poetry books The Woman Who Knew (Finishing Line Press, 2016) and First Rain (Peepal Tree Press, 2006), as well as the scholarly book Eroticism, Spirituality, and Resistance in Black Women’s Writings (University Press of Florida, 2009), and she coedited Caribbean Erotic (Peepal Tree Press, 2009).
