Eric Selinger
Eric Selinger is Associate Professor of English at DePaul University, where he teaches courses on poetry, Jewish American culture, and popular romance fiction. His publications include What Is It then Between Us: Traditions of Love in American Poetry (1998), Jewish American Poetry: Poems, Commentary, and Reflections (2000), and Ronald Johnson: Life and Works (2008); he is a regular contributor to Parnassus: Poetry in Review. Since 2003, he has led four NEH summer seminars for K-12 students on “Teaching the Pleasures of Poetry,” along with year-long series of workshops for Chicago-area middle school teachers, “How to Teach a Poem (and Learn from One, Too)”, also funded by the NEH.
