Faye George

Faye George was born in Weymouth, Massachusetts, where she would live most of her life. She was the author of five poetry collections: World of Hard Use (2015), Voices of King Philip’s War (2013), Märchenhaft: Like a Fairy Tale (2008), Back Roads (2003), and A Wound On Stone (2001). She also published the chapbooks Naming The Place: The Weymouth Poems (1996) and Only The Words (1995). Her work was included in several anthologies and published in many journals, including Poetry magazine, AGNI, and the Paris Review. She died in 2020.
