G. Maria Hindmarch
Gladys Maria Hindmarch was born on Vancouver Island and earned a BA and an MA from the University of British Columbia. An experimental prose writer, Hindmarch is the author of a novel, The Peter Stories (1976); a pregnancy and birth narrative, A Birth Account (1976); and an autobiographical story collection, The Watery Part of the World (1988). She was a founding editor of the 1960s Canadian avant-garde magazine TISH. Hindmarch has taught at Langara College and Capilano College.
