J. D. Isip

J.D. Isip is the author of Pocketing Feathers (Sadie Girl Press, 2015) and Kissing the Wound (Moon Tide Press, 2023). He was born and raised in a large, mixed-race (Filipino/Latino) family in Long Beach, California. After leaving the military, he earned a BA and an MA from California State University, Fullerton, and a PhD from Texas A&M University-Commerce. Isip is a micro-fiction and contributing editor for the Blue Mountain Review. He lives in Texas and teaches at Collin College.
