Jacob Shores-Argüello
Jacob Shores-Argüello is a Costa Rican American poet and fiction writer. He is the author of the poetry collections In the Absence of Clocks (2012) and Paraíso (2017), which won the inaugural CantoMundo Poetry Prize. He is the recipient of a Fulbright Fellowship to Ukraine, the Dzanc Books ILP International Literature Award, a Fine Arts Work Center Fellowship in Provincetown, a Djerassi Resident Artist’s Fellowship, a Amy Clampitt residency, and a Hodder Fellowship at Princeton University. His work has appeared in the New Yorker, Poetry magazine, and Guernica.
