Juana Adcock is a poet and translator. Her Spanish-language poetry collection, Manca (Tierra Adentro, 2014; English translation by Robin Myers, Argonautica, 2019), explores the anatomy of violence in the Mexican drug war. Her English-language collection Split (Blue Diode Press, 2019) was a Poetry Book Society Choice and was included in the Guardian’s Best Poetry of 2019. She is co-editor of the forthcoming Temporary Archives: Poetry by Women in Latin America (Arc Publications / Edge Hill University Press).
