Julian Carter

Julian Carter is the author of Dances of Time and Tenderness (Nightboat, 2024) and The Heart of Whiteness: Normal Sexuality and Race in America, 1890–1940 (Duke University Press, 2007). He is an associate professor of critical studies and fine arts at the California College of the Arts in San Francisco.
