Kyla Marshell

Kyla Marshell is a writer whose poems and other work have appeared in Blackbird, Calyx, Gawker, the Guardian, SPOOK magazine, Vinyl Poetry, and elsewhere. Her work earned her Cave Canem and Jacob K. Javits fellowships and an MFA in creative writing from Sarah Lawrence College. A Spelman College graduate, she is the the former development/marketing associate at Cave Canem Foundation. She lives in New York City.
