Neko Case is a singer and songwriter. Born in Alexandria, Virginia, Case had a nomadic childhood. At 15, she left home for Tacoma, Washington, where she became involved with the local punk and grunge music scenes. Since that time, Case has lived in Vancouver, Seattle, and Chicago. Today, she performs solo under her own name and with the Canadian-bred rock band The New Pornographers. Her recent albums include Hell-On (2018); and The Worse Things Get, the Harder I Fight, the Harder I Fight, the More I Love You (2013). She lives in Vermont with her three dogs and two cats.
