Nick Norwood
http://www.nick-norwood.com/Nick Norwood was born in DeQueen, Arkansas, and grew up in Texas. He is the author of four full volumes of poetry: The Soft Blare (2003), selected for the River City Poetry Series; A Palace for the Heart (2004), a finalist and honorable mention in the Mellen Press Poetry contest; Gravel and Hawk (2012), winner of the Hollis Summers Prize; and Eagle & Phenix (2019). He is also the author of the fine press books Wrestle (2007) and Text (2016) which he produced in collaboration with the artist and master printer Erika Adams. His work has appeared in The Paris Review, Southwest Review, Western Humanities Review, Southwestern American Literature, Shenandoah, The Oxford American and in many other magazines and anthologies. He teaches at Columbus State University, where he also directs the Carson McCullers Center for Writers and Musicians in Columbus, Georgia, and Nyack, New York.
