Padma Thornlyre

Padma Thornlyre is the editor of Mad Blood and the founder of Turkey Buzzard Press. He is the author of Mavka: A Poem in 50 Parts (Turkey Buzzard Press, 2011), Eating Totem: The Mossbeard Poems (Turkey Buzzard Press, 2008), Angel Flesh: Poems 1978-1998 (Baculite Publishing Company, 1998), and other collections. Thornlyre’s translation of the Ukrainian poet Lyudmyla Diadchenko’s Magnetic Storms was published by No Reply Press in 2023. He earned his BA in English from Coe College in 1981.

Thornlyre lives in Raton, New Mexico.
