Samuel Gregoire

Samuel Gregoire was born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. Since 2004, he has lived in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. Gregoire is the author of the bilingual Creole and Spanish book Simulacros de paraísos y otros renacidos (Amargord Ediciones, 2018). He is a writer and human rights journalist. His work has been published in international anthologies including Words from an Island (Ediciones de Cultura, 2012) and theanthology of Haitian and Dominican poetry Words from an Island, edited by Basilio Belliard and Gasthon Saint-Fleur. His poems have been published in international literary magazines such as Poesía, La Libélula vaga, Red Door, Álastor, and Abisinia Review. Gregoire writes in Spanish and Creole.
