Sarah White
Sarah White studied Italian language and literature and medieval French at Harvard University and the University of Michigan. She is the author of the full-length collections of poetry Cleopatra Haunts the Hudson (2007), Alice Ages and Ages (2010), The Unknowing Muse (2014), and Wars Don’t Happen Anymore (2015). White’s other publications include the chapbook Mrs. Bliss and the Paper Spouse (2007) and the lyric memoir The Poem Has Reasons: A Story of Far Love (2008), available online from Proem Press. She co-translated the collection Songs of the Women Troubadours (2000). White is professor emerita in French at Franklin & Marshall College and currently lives in New York City.
