Sayuri Ayers

Sayuri Ayers is a prose writer and poet from Columbus, Ohio. Her chapbooks include The Maiden in the Moon (Porkbelly Press, 2023), Mother/Wound (Full/Crescent, 2020), and 

Radish Legs, Duck Feet (Green Bottle Press, 2016). Ayers is a Kundiman Fellow. In 2022, she was an artist-in-residence at Streetlight Guild. She received the 2020 Ohio Arts Council’s Individual Excellence Award for creative nonfiction and has also been awarded grants from the Ohio Arts Council, the Greater Columbus Arts Council, and Arts Possible Ohio.
