Sergey Gandlevsky
Sergey Gandlevsky was born in Moscow in 1952. He has published numerous books of poetry and prose since Perestroika, and was awarded the "Little Booker" in 1996 for his novel The Trepanation of the Skull. He is widely recognized as one of the great contemporary Russian poets. A Kindred Orphanhood was published in 2003 by Zephyr Press.
