Susan Browne (she/her) has published poetry in Ploughshares, Poetry, The Sun, The Southern Review, Rattle, New Ohio Review, On the Seawall, American Life in Poetry, and the anthology 180 More: Extraordinary Poems for Every Day (Random House, 2005) edited by Billie Collins. She has published three books of poetry: Just Living (Catamaran Literary Reader, 2019), winner of the 2019 Catamaran Poetry Prize; Zephyr (Steel Toe Books, 2010); and Buddha’s Dogs (Four Way Books, 2004). She also collaborated with poet Kim Addonizio to create the poetry CD Swearing, Smoking, Drinking, & Kissing: Poems and Music in 2005. Her awards include prizes from Four Way Books, the Los Angeles Poetry Festival, the River Styx International Poetry Contest, and the James Dickey Poetry Prize. She received a fellowship from the Provincetown Fine Arts Work Center. She lives in Chico, California.
