Tendai M. Shaba

Tendai M. Shaba is a Malawian poet, activist, and spoken word artist. He is the author of A Lady in a Yellow Dress (Pachulu Publishing, 2023) and the self-published Moments to Cherish (2020). In March 2024, he was featured as an impactful Malawian poet on the Commonwealth Poetry podcast, produced in association with the Royal Commonwealth Society and the University of Chester. As a spoken word artist, he has collaborated with the former state president of Malawi, Dr. Joyce Banda, on a women and girls empowerment spoken word poem.
