Timothy Tocher is the author of several books of fiction, nonfiction, and poetry for both children and adults. His books for children often focus on sports and athletics. He is the author of Odd Ball: Hilarious, Unusual & Bizarre Baseball Moments (2014, illustrated by Stacy Curtis), which was nominated for the 2014 Garden State Children’s Book Award; Bill Pennant, Babe Ruth and Me (2009); Chief Sunrise, John McGraw and Me (2004); Playing for Pride (2002); and Long Shot (2001). Tocher lives in New York’s Hudson River Valley.
