Troy Osaki is a Filipino Japanese poet, organizer, and attorney from Seattle, Washington. He won a Ruth Lilly and Dorothy Sargent Rosenberg Poetry fellowship from the Poetry Foundation in 2022. Osaki has also received fellowships from Kundiman, Hugo House, and the Jack Straw Cultural Center. A three-time grand slam poetry champion, his achievements have been recognized with grants from Artist Trust and the Seattle Office of Arts & Culture. 

Osaki’s work has been published in swamp pink (formerly known as Crazyhorse), the Margins, Poetry Northwest, and other publications. An attorney, he earned a Juris Doctor degree from the Seattle University School of Law where he interned at Creative Justice, an arts-based alternative to incarceration for youth in King County.
