Tyler Michael Jacobs is the author of Building Brownville (Stephen F. Austin State University Press, 2022). He is originally from rural Nebraska and earned his BA from the University of Nebraska-Kearney, where he studied English and creative writing. His poems have appeared in Pigeonholes, Sierra Nevada Review, Thin Air Magazine, White Wall Review, Funicular Magazine, The Good Life Review, and elsewhere. His poems can also be heard on Nebraska Public Media’s Friday LIVE!

Jacobs is a first-year MFA candidate in poetry at Bowling Green State University, where he serves as an associate editor of Mid-American Review and works as a graduate assistant teaching English composition and creative writing. He currently lives and writes in Bowling Green, Ohio.
