Ben Estes

Ben Estes is an artist, a poet, and an editor. He earned an MFA in painting from the University of Iowa and an MFA in poetry from the University of Massachusetts–Amherst. He is the author of the chapbooks Lamp like l’map (2009), Cymbals (2010), The Strings of Walnetto Arrangements (2011), and 8 Poems (2012) and the full-length collection of poems Illustrated Games of Patience (2015), named a Must Read Poetry Debut by LitHub. Estes has collaborated with artists such as Mariah Dekkenga, Sue Tompkins, and others. He is a founding editor of The Song Cave, a small press publishing poetry, prose, and limited edition art prints. He lives in New York City.
