David Sullivan

David Sullivan’s is the author of the poetry collections Strong-Armed Angels (Hummingbird Press, 2008), Every Seed of the Pomegranate (Tebot Bach, 2012), and Black Ice (Turning Point, 2015). His chapbook Take Wing (Casey Shay Press, 2016) won the Mary Ballard Poetry Chapbook Prize. He teaches at Cabrillo College, where he edits the Porter Gulch Review. He lives in Santa Cruz, California, with his love, the historian Cherie Barkey, and their two children, Jules and Amina Barivan.
