Miriam Bird Greenberg
Miriam Bird Greenberg was born in 1980 and grew up in rural Texas. Her limited-edition letterpress chapbook The Other World (2019), is available from the Center for Book Arts. Her poetry collections include In the Volcano’s Mouth (University of Pittsburgh Press, 2016) and Pact-Blood, Fever Grass (Ricochet Editions, 2013). She studied English and studio arts at the University of Pittsburgh and earned an MFA in Poetry from the Michener Center for Writers. She currently holds the Dobie Paisano Fellowship from the Texas Institute of Letters.
Greenberg lives in Oakland, CA, where she is a Wallace Stegner fellow at Stanford University.
